History and effectiveness:

Anti-Vitiligo. Oil is a traditional herbal formulation which has been refined at the TrueHerbals laboratories. Although the history of itscurative success spreads over centuries, the refined commercial reparation has again been formally tested. The refined preparation was found equally successful with better user tolerance than the traditional recipe in local studies. It was hence made internationally available in November 2003. Feedback from customers all round the globe testifies not only good success rates, but suggests also that its curative potential is not significantly affected by complexion or racial, ethnic and geographical factors.

The pre-launch local studies as well as the collective experience of beneficiaries from all round the world have shown that Anti-Vitiligo. Oil is effective both in disease of recent onset as well as in long standing established cases. Success has been documented in cases with disease as old as four decades.

All the ingredients used in preparation of Anti-Vitiligo. are of herbal origin. Anti-Vitiligo. contains absolutely no steroids, photo-sensitizing chemicals and harsh irritating substances.

Side effects:

No incidence of local or generalized side effect has yet been reported except rare complaints of short lived irritation/rash in individual with hyper-sensitive skin. That can be easily managed by making the following adjustments.

Indications:

Vitiligo, Hypo pigmentation, lose of pigment due to any other reason

Ingredients:

1- Coconut oil
2- Psoralea Coryli Folia
3- Black cumin
4- Barberry Root

Dosage:

Application of the oil is to be carried out every 24 hours (conveniently before retiring to bed) through out the entire period of treatment. The oil should not be washed earlier than 6 hours for optimal advantage. The duration can be extended up to but not more than 12 hours. If the oil has to be washed earlier than 6 hours for any pressing reason, the patient can switch to a twice daily schedule.

Storage:

Anti-Vitiligo. oil goes thick at temperatures below 15C/59F but resumes normal consistency by warming in hot water. It is more appropriate to store the oil at 20-30C/68-86F. The Oil should be used only when it is fluid and should be shaken well before application. If one needs to stock the product for prolonged period, it should be transferred to an air-tight glass container.

Notes:

Exposure to sun or ultraviolet light can speed up the healing process. It is recommended that ultraviolet light should be used only under medical supervision.
Keep the affected areas clean and avoid applying cosmetics.
Re-pigmentation has been observed to be faster in healthy and active individuals than the feeble and sedentary.

Use in special patient groups:

The Anti-Vitiligo. has been successfully used in children, pregnant women and the elderly with no reports of untoward effects. The safety however has not been scientifically proven in these subgroups. The benefits of its use should hence be weighed against possible risk. The product has not been tested in patients with liver and kidney dysfunction.
